Lamenting with you. And hungering for justice for Dick, whatever that might look like. Much like my prayers for Putin - I hope that Dick would repent, and absent that, that he would be silent / silenced.
As Scott said--love this post but not the reason for it. You are beloved, Sharifa! Your progeny are beloved! And while I am so very sorry that harm was intended and done to you--thank you for shining light on this darkness (and these rat droppings).
Oh, I’m so angry about this, at them.
But still, always, come back to you are beloved and am so thankful for you--for you as you, in all of your God-invested wisdom and beauty and glory that is you.
I was watching a video this week on Philippians. It said Paul used a word that is not as polite as “garbage “. It got me to thinking if God really wants us to be polite or truthful. I believe truthful.
Was it skubala? I remember when I read about that and my jaw dropped. Something shifted in me the day I learned that the Bible had rough language (smoothed out by translators).
I did not look up the word in Greek. It was not the first time I have heard that said about that passage tho. Know you have me curious and have given me homework! 😂

I really appreciate this, Megan. You, too, are beloved.
